The Newport, Vt., native helped Plattsburgh State capture a SUNYAC championship and advance to the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2005, its best NCAA postseason finish in program history.

Stanley, who was an NSCAA Second-Team All-American and was named to the SUNYAC All-Tournament Team in 2004, concluded his career with 93 points, tallying 38 goals and 17 assists.

Where are they now:

Tim is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and is currently the Behavior Systems Coordinator at Enosburg Falls Middle and High School. He has worked his entire professional career, including before, after and during college, supporting young people with behavioral challenges to access their community and their education. He lives in St. Albans, Vt., with his wife, Sarah Pearson, and they have three beautiful children: Marion (14), Audrey (12), and Walter (11).

Tim cites his greatest accomplishment as the support he and his wife offer to their children’s endeavors. “All three kids are insanely busy with hockey and soccer, and games all over the region,” Tim says. “Many weekends, the family is split up and just trying to get each kid to their games on time with the right equipment. Our greatest accomplishment is that on most Sundays after another busy sports weekend, we are all happy to be home and with each other again. We take a collective deep breath and get ready to do it all again.”

Favorite Plattsburgh State Sports Moment:

His favorite Plattsburgh State sports moment was “earning the right to host NCAA regional playoffs for the right to play in the national Final Four and then winning both games on the weekend to secure a spot. The Final Four itself was forgettable.”
