With the addition of (Webb) Duffy, the number of women’s soccer inductees to the Cardinal Athletic Hall of Fame now stands at six. Through the course of her career which spanned from 1993-96, the product of Milton, Vt., amassed 62 points on 18 goals and a then-program best 26 assists.

She was a two-time NSCAA All-Region Third Team selection and also collected two All-NYSWCAA awards during her career. Additionally, she was on the receiving end of an All-SUNYAC Second Team laurel in 1995 before earning a spot on the All-SUNYAC First Team in 1996.

In 1995, she helped lead the Cardinals to their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Tournament.

WHERE SHE IS NOW:
Upon graduating from Plattsburgh in 1997, Keri embarked on a cross-country road trip to Denver, Colo., where she served as a teacher for four years. She married her husband, Kevin, on July 1, 2000. The two had been dating since they attended Milton High School together in Milton, Vt. After the birth of the couples’ first child, Reese Lori, the family relocated to New Gloucester, Maine.

As of today, Keri is a stay-at-home-mom to her three children - Reese (12), West Sue (10) and Hobey Allen (five). Keri stays active in the lives of her children as all three are heavily involved in school, sports and everything in between. Her youngest, Hobey, recently started attending school, so Keri believes she will return to the classroom in a teaching capacity in the very near future.

FAVORITE PLATTSBURGH STATE SPORTS MOMENT:
“That’s simple. The 1995 Division III Women’s National Soccer Tournament. That year I had the honor to be on the first Plattsburgh State Women’s soccer team to make an appearance at the NCAA Division III tournament. It was a fantastic and unforgettable year. My greatest sports moment at Plattsburgh was waiting with my team at Memorial Hall to hear if we made it into the tournament. All season we put in the hard work, we had the right attitude, we had the results, but we still had to wait. Did we do it? YES! Unfortunately, we lost in the first round in a PK shootout.  The disappointment was crushing but the experience, the build up, the drive, the want, the teamwork, the bond, the memories, will forever be a part of me.”
