Hall of Fame
Teague excelled in both cross country and track and field. He was a two-time NCAA Division III All-American in both sports. Teague set school records for the mile, two-mile and three-mile indoor track events and the six-mile outdoor event.
A two-time SUNYAC cross country champion, he joined the conference’s Hall of Fame in 1974. He then followed up these performances with a 1976 SUNYAC championship for the mile and three-mile run. In his senior season, he was a SUNY Chancellor’s Scholar-Athlete.
Teague continued running and was an Olympic Trials Qualifier for the marathon 1980. He went on to teach college mathematics while coaching youth soccer. Teague was a former United Way chairman and a former member of the Florida Track Club Board of Directors.
