A prolific student-athlete, Karin Sherman Trombley set records for single season and career scoring. She finished her playing career with 37 goals, 18 assists and 100 points. During her senior season, Sherman Trombley scored a single-season record 16 goals and 37 points in 20 games as the Cardinals made their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance.

The 1995 season also saw her earn the last of three All-State Soccer Team selections along with two All-SUNYAC honors. Sherman Trombley also received the Plattsburgh State Female Athlete of the Year and the 1996 Senior Achievement Award.

Where are they now?
At the time of her induction, she was a teacher’s assistant in special education at Momot Elementary School in Plattsburgh after earning her master’s in administrative leadership. She also coaches varsity girls’ soccer in Chazy, N.Y.
