T.J. Cornwright Brock was a four-year basketball standout for Cardinal teams in the mid- to late- 1980s.  A three-time all-State University of New York Athletic Conference performer, she still holds the school single-game scoring record with 36 points as a freshman against Binghamton on Feb. 8, 1986.  Cornwright also is among all-time leaders in several Plattsburgh all-time charts at the time of her induction:  second in career rebounds with 674, second in season field goal percentage at 54.0 percent in 1986, second in season rebounding average at 11.0 per game in 1989, fourth in season field goals made with 149 in 1986, sixth in career points with 1,000 and seventh in career steals with 134, just to name a few of her marks.

Fellow Hall of Famer and Cornwright’s former coach Phoebe Sturm said: “T.J. was an absolute pleasure to work with.  She was mature even as a freshman and was eager to learn and lead.  She was respected by her peers and never let them down.  She was just fun to be around.”

The former Cornwright was taking a break from the nursing field to care for her two children when she got the call to enter the Hall.  She and her husband make their home in Saratoga.
