Hall of Fame
Walbridge Rees shined as a Cardinal student-athlete. She co-captained the swim team while setting school records in four freestyle events. A member of three school record setting relay teams, the Cardinals qualified NYS AIAW Division III championships three times and placed high in three freestyle events in 1981.
Walbridge Rees was a member of Phi Upsilon Omicron, a national honor society for education. She was a home economics teacher and department chair. Walbridge Rees also coached girls’ and boys’ varsity swimming and synchronized swimming. At the time of her induction, she was active in community service as a Girl Scout Leader and a 15-year Red Cross volunteer.
