Stephanie (Zweig) Conroy was a key member of some of the greatest Cardinal softball teams in the program’s history.

Where is she now:
After leaving college coaching, Stephanie taught second and fourth grade for three years and currently works as a senior facilitator of Educational Technology for the Lower Hudson Regional Information Center, which is a part of Southern Westchester BOCES. As a part of her job, she covers certain educational technology programs and supports school districts who use these programs. She primarily supports administrators and teachers and facilitates their success with each obstacle that educational technology can present. Stephanie also works as a part of the Brewster Central School in rolling out their data dashboard system, which helps identify and support students in need. In both roles, she serves as a bridge between the teachers/administrators and the technology they use in their classroom.
Stephanie is married to her husband, Kevin, and they have two kids: Braden (6 years old) and Aria (4 years old). They now live in Ridgefield, Conn., with their puppy, Hudson.
“I am proud of the transitions that I have made in my professional career,” Stephanie said. “Each step has led to another opportunity, and I look forward to finishing my school administrative degree in December. Changing careers, buying a house and moving to a new state while finishing my second masters hasn’t been easy, but it will all be worth it, and has brought me to where I am supposed to be. Our life is never easy, but my family is a team, and we always stick together. I am proud of my family.”
Favorite Plattsburgh State Sports Moment:
“There are so many special moments in my history with Plattsburgh Athletics, but one of my favorite moments is when we won the SUNYAC championship in 2006 on our home field. There is nothing that can compare to that feeling with that team. That group of seniors deserved that moment, and it was an honor to be a part of it, and was only the beginning of our tradition of success as a program.”
