Favorite Plattsburgh Sports Moment
“There are many special moments at Plattsburgh that stand out for me: representing our school, being selected captain, championships we won, certain games played and certain goals scored, and playing with Matt Wesott on the highest-scoring line in ECAC and NYCHA during the 1977-1978 season. But without a doubt there are two moments in particular that I am most proud of and far outshine the others. The first moment was being selected to the Cardinal Hockey All-Decade Team last year. The second, and for sure the most memorable moment, was when I was contacted regarding my selection to the Sports Hall of Fame. To have my contributions and achievements be recognized as worthy to be included in the Hall and to join fellow teammates like Matt Wescott, Rick Strack and Doug Kimura provides tremendous satisfaction. Those boys were outstanding in their own right, and it has been my privilege to have known them and to have had the honor of being their teammate.”
