Nick Goddard (1972-1975) was the first Plattsburgh men’s soccer player chosen to the All-State University of New York Athletic Conference First Team all four years of his collegiate career.
A three-time National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-New York State choice, including first team in 1975, Goddard capped his senior year with 11 assists, a single-season school record at the time. At the time of induction, his 11 assists are tied for fourth all-time.
He signed a contract to play professionally with the Minnesota Kicks of the North American Soccer League in 1976.
In 1975 he helped the Cardinals to the finals of the Eastern College Athletic Conference Upstate Tournament when the team had an overall record of 9-6-1.
Nick Goddard currently works as a kitchen designer at Home Depot. He lives in Lakewood, Colo., with his wife, Kate. They have two children, Stephen , who played soccer at University of Maryland, and Kelcey, who plays soccer at Gonzaga University.

Nick played professionally with the North American Soccer League with the Minnesota Kicks. Nick is very proud of his accomplishments as a youth soccer coach over the past 20 years.
