Alicia LaValley starred for the Cardinals’ women’s basketball program from 1989-93.  She is the program’s 12th individual enshrined into the Sports Hall.

She joins fellow 2004 Hall of Famer Donna Dixon ’89 as the only Cardinals who have earned all-State University of New York Athletic Conference accolades four times, including spots on the first team in 1991 and ’92.

LaValley is still the school’s all-time leader in scoring (1,436 points) and steals (408) and also ranks in the Top 10 career lists for 3-point field goals (2nd, 96), assists (4th, 228) and rebounds (10th, 391).  She was named the 1993 Plattsburgh State Female Athlete of the Year after she averaged 16.3 points and set a school single-season record with 149 steals.
