Maureen McClendon Anken played four years of women’s basketball from 1980 to 1984. She was named a team captain while leading the Cardinals in rebounding and steals and second in assists.
McClendon Anken was the second leading team scorer all four years to complement her two All-SUNYAC selections. During her senior season, she scored 209 points with 88 rebounds in 20 games.

Where are they now?
She graduated cum laude in mathematics and became a computer engineer and a math teacher. McClendon Anken also coached YMCA soccer and basketball for boys and girls.
