BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State track and field team concluded the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference Championships (AARTFC) on Thursday hosted by The College at Brockport.
Senior
Stephanie Boucher (New Hartford, N.Y. / New Hartford) finished second in the 400-meters with a personal best time of 56.90 which puts her in the Top-30 of the NCAA Division III.
Senior's
Heather Chapman (Granville, N.Y. / Granville) and
Lindsey Davenport (Webster, N.Y. / Webster Thomas) each closed out their Cardinal track and field careers with Top-10 finishes.
Chapman threw 121' 2" in the discus to finish sixth while Davenport placed seventh in the 800-meters with a time of 2:21.14.
Sophomore
Elisabeth Plympton (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Beekmantown) took sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.41.
Sophomore
Brianna Coon (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Plattsburgh) took eighth in the shot put with a throw of 38' 4 ¾".
Junior
Brian Fabian (East Northport, N.Y. / Northport) was 16th in the 400-meters with a time of 51.51.
The NCAA Division III will announce the official entries for the 2018 Outdoor Track & Field Championship this weekend. The Top-22 women, Top-20 men and Top-16 relays gain entry. Boucher currently sits in fifth in the 800-meter run while Plympton is in 12th in the 200-meter dash and 14th in the 100-meter dash and the women's 4x400-meter relay is presently 15th.
The NCAA DIII Championships are scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, May 24-26 in La Crosse, Wis.
