2017-18 Schedule
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State track and field coaches have announced their 2017-18 schedule for the indoor and outdoor season.
INDOOR
The Cardinals will travel to Canton N.Y. on Friday, Dec. 1, to open their indoor season at the Saints Holiday Relay hosted by St. Lawrence University. They will head back to St. Lawrence after winter break for the Saints Indoor Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 20. The team heads to Middlebury, Vt. on Saturday, Jan. 27, for the Middlebury Invitational before competing at the Terroir Invitation hosted by Boston University on Friday, February 2.
From Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 3-4, the Cardinals will contest at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational before testing themselves against elite competition at the Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University from Friday-Saturday, Feb. 9-10. They will then participate at the Gordon Kelly Invitational hosted by MIT on Saturday, Feb 10.
A meet at Utica College (Pioneer Invitational) on Saturday, Feb. 17, will serve as the final tune-up before the SUNYAC Championships, which will be hosted by The College at Brockport from Friday-Saturday, Feb. 23-24.
The NCAA DIII Atlantic Regional Championships, which will be hosted by Ithaca College, run from Friday-Saturday, March 2-3. The NCAA Division III Championships are set for Friday-Saturday, March 9-10, at the Birmingham Crossplex in Alabama hosted by Birmingham Southern College.
OUTDOOR
The Cardinals will open their outdoor season in Allentown, Pa. at the Muhlenberg Invitational on Saturday, April 7, before heading to Lewisburg, Pa. the following weekend (Friday-Saturday, April 13-14) for the prestigious Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell University.
Plattsburgh State will head to Middlebury, Vt. on Saturday, April 14, for the Middlebury Invitational and the following weekend (Saturday-Sunday April, 21-22) compete at the Cortland Classic.
The Twilight meet at St. Lawrence on Saturday, April 28, will serve as a last chance meet before competing at the SUNYAC meet hosted by Geneseo Friday-Saturday, May 4-5.
The NCAA DIII Atlantic Regional Championships will be hosted by The College at Brockport and will run from Thursday-Friday, May 10-11. The NCAA Division III Championships are set for Thursday-Saturday, May 24-26, at the University of La Crosse in La Crosse, WI.
