ABOUT THE CARDINALS: The Cardinals will bring eight student-athletes to the meet this weekend, led by junior Isaiah Ritter (Peekskill, N.Y. / Peekskill), who holds the highest seed on the team at fifth in the long jump with his program-record leap of 7.20 meters.

Senior Charles Cypress (New Windsor, N.Y. / Cornwall) will compete in both the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash and is coming off a two-medal performance at the SUNYAC Championship. He earned bronze in the 60-meter dash and followed with silver in the 200-meter dash. Cypress's top seed comes in the 200-meter dash, where he is ranked seventh with a time of 21.65 seconds, while he enters the 60-meter dash as the 12th seed at 6.89 seconds.

Senior Samuel Van Auken (Greenville, N.Y. / Greenville) is in position to move into scoring contention as the 10th seed (15:05.33) in the 5,000-meter run. He scored points at the conference championships but just missed the podium with a fourth-place finish.

First-year Collin Pringle (Suffern, N.Y. / Suffern) and sophomore Thomas Clark (Stone Ridge, N.Y. / Rondout Valley) will also represent Plattsburgh. Pringle will compete in the high jump, where his career-best mark of 1.94 meters places him 22nd in the field.
