Plattsburgh State’s Grace Yarkosky Qualifies for NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in 400-Meter Dash

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Senior Grace Yarkosky (South Lyon, Mich. / South Lyon) of the Plattsburgh State women's track and field team has qualified for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 400-meter dash, as announced by the NCAA on Sunday evening. This year's championships will be hosted by Birmingham-Southern College on Friday and Saturday, Mar. 13-14.

Yarkosky enters the meet as the eighth-fastest qualifier in the 400-meter dash with her program-record time of 55.55 seconds, which she set at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Feb. 13. The appearance marks the first time Yarkosky has qualified for the NCAA Championships.

The preliminary heats of the 400-meter dash are scheduled for Friday, Mar. 13, at 4:05 p.m., with the finals set for Saturday, Mar. 14, at 5:25 p.m.
