TROY, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's track and field team had four student-athletes compete at the RPI Under the Lights Invitational hosted by the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Friday.
Sophomore
Noah Bonesteel (Averill Park, N.Y./Averill Park) and junior
Logan Van Buren (Port Henry, N.Y./Moriah) each posted second-place finishes, with Bonesteel taking second in the 1,500-meter run (4:00.48) and Van Buren placing second in the 800-meter run (1:58.44). First-year student
Erik Kucera (Mount Sinai, N.Y./Mount Sinai) and sophomore
Justin Kumrow (Mahopac, N.Y./Mahopac) rounded out the remainder of the Cardinals at the meet, as they placed 10th (4:05.04) and 13th (4:14.48), respectively, in the 1,500-meter run.
Plattsburgh State next will send split squads to the Southern New Hampshire Penman Relays hosted by Southern New Hampshire University and the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton University tomorrow.
