NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its All-Region honors for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season on Tuesday, with seven members of the Plattsburgh State men's track and field team earning Mideast All-Region recognition. Faris Webber (Arlington, Va. / Washington Liberty), and sophomore
Nathan Webber (Cadyville, N.Y. / Saranac) were all recognized.
Clark earned All-Region honors in the 110-meter hurdles after recording the eighth-fastest time in the Mideast Region. Cypress received All-Region recognition in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes. He tied for the second-fastest time in the region in the 100-meter dash, the highest regional ranking by a Plattsburgh State men's athlete this season, and posted the fifth-fastest time in the 200-meter dash. Pringle earned All-Region honors in the triple jump after recording the fourth-best mark in the region. Smith and Ritter were both recognized in the long jump, ranking second and fifth in the region, respectively. F. Webber received All-Region honors in the decathlon with the seventh-highest point total in the Mideast Region, while N. Webber earned recognition in the discus throw after recording the third-best mark in the region.
The top eight individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Athletic.net Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, Northeast, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season. Clark earned his second career All-Region honor and his first in the 110-meter hurdles after receiving All-Region recognition in the 60-meter hurdles during the indoor season. His season-best time of 14.99 seconds came at the SLU Twilight Invite on Apr. 24.
Cypress added to his decorated career by earning All-Region honors in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes. He collected back-to-back All-Region recognition in the 100-meter dash after recording an outdoor program-record time of 10.57 seconds at the SLU Twilight Invite on Apr. 24. His top time in the 200-meter dash was 21.52 seconds, which he ran at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 1-2 to earn a silver medal. He also claimed bronze in the 100-meter dash at the conference championships.
Pringle continued his successful first-year campaign by earning another All-Region honor, this time in the triple jump. His season-best mark of 14.23 meters came at the RPI Under the Lights Meet on Apr. 10-11, where he broke the outdoor program record in the event. He later earned a silver medal in the triple jump at the SUNYAC Championships on May 1-2.
Coming off an indoor season in which he earned All-America honors in the long jump, Ritter remained a key contributor for the Cardinals during the outdoor season. The junior recorded a season-best leap of 7.12 meters at the RPI Under the Lights Meet on Apr. 10-11. He followed that performance with a silver-medal finish in the long jump at the SUNYAC Championships on May 1-2.
Smith continued his strong performances in the long jump, earning another All-Region honor after also receiving the distinction during the indoor season. His season-best mark of 7.24 meters, which stands as the outdoor program record, came at the RPI Under the Lights Meet on Apr. 10-11.
F. Webber earned the first All-Region honor of his career in the decathlon. His top score of 5,464 points came at the SUNYAC Championships on May 1-2, where he placed second overall to earn a silver medal.
N. Webber also earned the first All-Region honor of his career in the discus throw. His personal-best throw of 45.99 meters came at the Middlebury Invitational on Apr. 18, and he later earned a silver medal in the event at the SUNYAC Championships on May 1-2.
