Meet Results

BOSTON – Freshman Jared Davidson (Washingtonville, N.Y./Washingtonville) hit a pair of All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference qualifying marks, helping lead the Plattsburgh State men's track and field team at the John Thomas Terrier Classic hosted by Boston University on Saturday.
 
Davidson charted a time of 49.49 in the 400-meter dash to finish 28th out of 126 runners. That mark, which converts to a 50.29 on a flat track, leads the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) and ranks second in the AARTFC. He also posted a 61st-place finish out of 191 competitors in the 200-meter dash, clocking a 22.42. The time, which converts to a 22.83 on a flat track, met AARTFC qualification and currently ranks second in the SUNYAC.
 
Freshman Brendyn Marrero (Rock Tavern, N.Y./Washingtonville) competed in the 60-meter dash, placing 22nd with a time of 7.27, and the 200-meter dash (99th, 22.80), while junior Andrew Horan (Albany, N.Y./Guilderland) finished 72nd in the 800-meter run (1:57.98) and 123rd (4:28.14) in the mile.
 
Freshman Marlon Peak Jr. (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Lakeland) competed in the 400-meter dash (51.52) and the 200-meter dash (24.16), while junior Arthur Horan (Albany, N.Y./Guilderland) ran the 800-meter run (2:02.20) and the mile run (4:31.79).

The Cardinals will return to action next weekend at both the Ithaca Bomber Invitational hosted by Ithaca College from Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 1-2, and the Pioneer Open hosted by Utica College on Saturday, Feb. 1.
