CORTLAND, N.Y. – Junior Brianna Coon (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Plattsburgh) of the Plattsburgh State women's track and field team has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Athlete of the week for women's field events.

Coon took first in both shot put (38' 4 ¾") and weight throw (48' 7 ¼") at the St. Lawrence Dual Duel In Newell on Saturday.

Coon is currently second in shot put and third in weight throw in the SUNYAC.
