STORRS, Conn. – Senior
Grace Yarkosky (South Lyon, Mich. / South Lyon) of the Plattsburgh State women's track and field team broke the outdoor program record in the 400-meter dash, clocking a time of 55.26 seconds to place fourth at the UConn Northeast Challenge. Yarkosky's performance currently ranks sixth in Division III and is an All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) qualifying mark.
Sophomore
Isabella Scott (Valatie, N.Y. / Ichabod Crane) competed in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing 11th with a personal-best time of 1:05.08, also an AARTFC qualifying mark.
The Cardinals return to action on Friday, Apr. 24, traveling to St. Lawrence for the SLU Twilight Invite.
