2026 USTFCCCA Women's Track and Field All-Academic Teams

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its track and field academic awards on Monday, recognizing Plattsburgh State women's track and field student-athletes Emma Mahoney (Spencerport, N.Y. / Spencerport), Isabella Scott (Valatie, N.Y. / Ichabod Crane), Brianna Wise (Niskayuna, N.Y. / Niskayuna), and Grace Yarkosky (South Lyon, Mich. / South Lyon) for their academic excellence. The Plattsburgh State women's track and field team also earned recognition as an All-Academic Team.

For athletes to be eligible, students must carry a GPA over 3.30 and meet one of the following athletic criteria listed by the USTFCCCA:

Must have finished the season among the top 50 individuals as listed on the descending order lists on TFRRS. In addition, any athletes not among the top 50, but who participated at the Indoor or Outdoor National Championships, are eligible.

Must have competed as a member of one of the top 35 relay teams as listed on the indoor descending order list on TFRRS. In addition, any athletes not among the top 35 relay teams, but who participated in the relay at the Indoor or Outdoor National Championships, are eligible. Finally, any competing relay team member on an expanded descending order list to include 35 institutions (one relay team per institution) is eligible.

Mahoney completed her sophomore year with a 3.91 cumulative GPA while pursuing a degree in Nursing, while Scott completed her sophomore year with a 3.62 cumulative GPA while pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management. Wise finished her sophomore year with a 3.92 cumulative GPA while pursuing a degree in Accounting, and Yarkosky completed her senior year with a 3.61 cumulative GPA while pursuing a degree in Fitness & Wellness Leadership. All four earned USTFCCCA All-Academic recognition.

Teams must carry a GPA of at least 3.10 to be eligible for the USTFCCCA All-Academic list.

The Plattsburgh State women's track and field team excelled in the classroom, posting a 3.60 cumulative GPA to earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors.

The Cardinals finished fourth at the SUNYAC Indoor Championships before placing seventh at the SUNYAC Outdoor Championships.
