Jones broke a 12-year-old program record and ran the 11th-fastest time in NCAA Division III in the 400-meter dash at the respected Valentine Classic hosted by Boston University on Friday. She ran a regional qualifying time of 57.44, which is currently the fastest time in the SUNYAC and third in the region. Jones was the fourth Division III athlete to cross the finish line and was 38th overall out of 172 runners. She was the anchor leg of the 28th-fastest 4x400-meter relay in Division III. The relay ran a time of 4:00.92, which is currently the third-fastest time in the region and second-fastest in the SUNYAC. The performance was also the second-fastest time in program history.
