Ciccarelli placed second in the heptathlon at the SUNYAC Indoor Championships, compiling a score of 4,591 points. In the component events of the heptathlon, Ciccarelli won the shot put (11.34 meters – 37' 2.5"), placed second in the long jump (6.15 meters – 20' 2.25"), the 60-meter dash (7.29), the 1,000-meter run (2:52.25) and the 60-meter hurdles (8.81), finished third in the pole vault (3.60 meters – 11' 9.75") and tied for fifth in the high jump (1.75 meters – 5' 8.75"). His performance helped Plattsburgh State finish fifth in the team standings, the program's highest finish since the 2006 championships.
