SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Senior Grace Yarkosky (South Lyon, Mich. / South Lyon) of the Plattsburgh State women's track and field team has been selected as the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Track Athlete of the Week, as announced Tuesday by the conference office. This is her first career honor and the first weekly honor for the team this year.

Yarkosky delivered a record-breaking performance in the 600-meter run as Plattsburgh State returned to action at the Middlebury Winter Classic. Her time of 1:35.01 set a new indoor program record, earning her first place.

The Cardinals are next in action on Saturday, Jan. 24, when they travel to St. Lawrence to compete in the St. Lawrence Invitational.
