PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Plattsburgh State junior
Sydney Myers (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Saranac) was named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Offensive Athlete of the Week for women's soccer, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. This is the team's first weekly honor of the season.
Myers delivered a historic performance, tying the Plattsburgh State program record for most goals in a single game with four goals all scored in the first half against VTSU-Johnson. Her offensive outburst included both the game-tying and game-winning goals, sparking the Cardinals to a dominant 6-1 victory.
