2026 Plattsburgh State Men's Lacrosse Schedule

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's lacrosse team is set to compete in a 14-game slate for the 2026 season, as announced on Thursday by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation.

The Cardinals finished with a 6-8 (2-5 SUNYAC) record last season, recording their best overall record since 2019. In his second year at the helm, head coach Zach Nedbalski and his team have their eyes set on a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) appearance.

Plattsburgh State begins its 2026 schedule on the road, traveling to Alfred State on Saturday, Feb. 21, followed by a three-game homestand. The team first welcomes Norwich on Wednesday, Feb. 25, before hosting Russell Sage on Saturday, Feb. 28. The following Saturday, Mar. 7, Plattsburgh State wraps up its home stretch with a matchup against Utica.

The Cardinals then head to Clarkson on Wednesday, Mar. 11, and return to home field on Saturday, Mar. 14, to take on Vermont State University (VTSU) Castleton.  The team concludes non-conference action at New England College on Wednesday, Mar. 18.

Plattsburgh State opens SUNYAC play at home against New Paltz on Saturday, Mar. 28, followed by back-to-back road contests. On Friday, Apr. 3, the team faces off against Oswego State, and then takes a trip to Potsdam on Wednesday, Apr. 8.

The Cardinals continue conference action at home, welcoming Morrisville on Saturday, Apr. 11, before visiting Canton on Saturday, Apr. 18. Next up is the team's home finale set for Wednesday, Apr. 22, against Oneonta. Plattsburgh State concludes its regular season at Cortland on Saturday, Apr. 25.

The top four teams qualify for the SUNYAC tournament, where the semi-finals will be played on Apr. 29 at the #1 and #2 seeds and the Championship on May 2 at the highest remaining seed.
