PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women's soccer team had six State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Conference honorees this season. Junior Sydney Myers (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Saranac) earned first-team honors; junior Lia Parker (Cadyville, N.Y./Saranac) and sophomore Desiree DuBois (Champlain, N.Y./Northeastern Clinton Central), along with first-years Mariah Nowicki (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) and Alana DeLaCruz (Albany, N.Y./Shaker), received second-team recognition; and senior Kelly Licata (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) was named to the third team.

In addition to her first-team honor, Myers was also named SUNYAC Offensive Player of the Year. The transfer standout totaled 27 points on 11 goals and five assists, contributing to more than half of the team's 30 goals this season. Time and again, Myers delivered in crucial moments, recording five game-winning goals and proving herself a difference-maker in tight contests.

DeLaCruz stands as the team's second-leading point producer with 11 points on five goals and one assist this season. The dynamic outside forward has developed into one of the Cardinals' most dangerous attacking threats, using her exceptional speed to get in behind defenses and stretch the field. She has been utilized in multiple roles throughout the year, starting nine of 19 games and often providing a spark off the bench with her energy and pace.

Nowicki was inserted into the starting centerback position early in the season and never looked back, delivering poise and composure at the heart of the defense. She anchored a backline that allowed just two goals in conference play and logged the most minutes of any player in SUNYAC action.

Parker has emerged as one of the team's leaders on defense, providing experience and stability at the back while helping guide the Cardinals to one of the best defenses in the conference. One of the team's top 1v1 defenders, Parker started all 15 games and contributed an assist in the team's semifinal victory over Fredonia.

DuBois has become the Cardinals' standout in goal. In her first season as the team's starting goalkeeper, she firmly established herself in the role, posting an impressive 0.74 goals-against average while starting 12 games and recording six wins along with 34 total saves.

Licata has been a key presence in the midfield on both ends of the field, particularly on the offensive side as one of the team's primary playmakers. She started 18 games this season, totaling three goals and one assist, including the game-tying goal in the team's semifinal victory over Fredonia, while orchestrating much of the Cardinals' attack.
