2023 Plattsburgh State Women's Volleyball Schedule
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women's volleyball team will look to continue to make gains in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) under third-year head coach

Plattsburgh State went 7-16 overall (0-9 SUNYAC) last season, boasting a 7-7 record against non-conference opponents that included a win over St. Lawrence University.
The Cardinals begin the 2023 season hosting the Cardinal Classic from Sept. 1-2, squaring off with Russell Sage College, SUNY Poly and SUNY Potsdam. Plattsburgh State then travels down to Saratoga Springs, N.Y., for the Skidmore Tournament, where it will face Alfred University, SUNY Morrisville and Skidmore College. SUNY Canton hosts the North Country Classic from Sept. 15-16, where the Cardinals will take on Hilbert College and Wells College in addition to the host Kangaroos, and Plattsburgh State matches up with Morrisville and Nazareth University at the Morrisville Tournament on Sept. 23 in its final tune-up before conference play.
Plattsburgh State opens its SUNYAC schedule at SUNY Brockport (Sept. 29) and SUNY Geneseo (Sept. 30) before coming back home to host Oswego State (Oct. 6) and two-time defending SUNYAC champion SUNY Cortland (Oct. 7). The Cardinals then host Potsdam on Oct. 11 before entertaining Northern Vermont University-Johnson on Oct. 17. Following road matches at SUNY Oneonta (Oct. 20) and SUNY New Paltz (Oct. 21), Plattsburgh State hosts Buffalo State (Oct. 27) and Fredonia (Oct. 28) in its final SUNYAC matches of the season. The Cardinals then close their regular-season schedule with three home contests, taking on St. Lawrence (Oct. 31), Skidmore (Nov. 3) and Union College (Nov. 4).
The top six teams in the final regular-season conference standings will qualify for the SUNYAC Tournament, with the first round set for Nov. 7, the semifinals set for Nov. 10 and the championship set for Nov. 11. The top two seeds earn byes to the semifinals, while the bottom four seeds begin the tournament in the first round on Oct. 28.
