Kyleigh Ganz and Katie Salphine Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

2025 CSC Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Teams

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Plattsburgh State senior right-side hitter Kyleigh Ganz (Phoenix, Ariz. / Seton Catholic Prep) and senior middle blocker Katie Salphine (Le Roy, N.Y. / Le Roy) were both named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team.

To be eligible for this ballot, student-athletes must excel on the field and in the classroom, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, and must be at least sophomores academically and athletically.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Ganz, a Criminal Justice and Law and Justice major with a 3.62 cumulative GPA, appeared in all 25 matches for Plattsburgh this season, starting in 15 matches. She was third on the team in total blocks with 31, including 27 block assists and four solo blocks, making a strong impact on the defensive end. She collected 144 kills (1.57 per set) and finished with 161.5 points (1.76 per set). Ganz also added 37 digs and set up the offense with 15 assists. The junior setter's season was highlighted by a season-high 11.5 points against VTSU-Johnson on Sept. 27 and a season-high four total blocks against Cortland on Nov. 1.

Salphine, a Biomedical Sciences major with a 4.0 cumulative GPA, started all 25 matches for Plattsburgh this season. She led the team in total blocks with 45, including 42 block assists and three solo blocks. Salphine collected 91 kills (1.03 per set) and finished with 116 points (1.32 per set), contributing to the offensive end as well. The sophomore middle blocker's season was highlighted by a season-high 11 points against Russell Sage on Aug. 30 and a season-high five total blocks against Keuka on Sept. 6.

Plattsburgh State finished the 2025 season 9-16 overall.
