                     Meet Results
BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Junior 
Brexton Montville (Cadyville, N.Y./Saranac) put himself in prime position to score points in a pair of events, as the Plattsburgh State men's track and field team wrapped up the first day of competition at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at SUNY Brockport.
 
Montville is the top qualifier for Saturday's final heat of the men's 100-meter dash, as he ran a time of 10.94 in the first round. Montville also placed fourth in the first round of the 200-meter dash with a season-best time of 21.92.
 
Sophomore 
Cody Monnat (Croghan, N.Y./Beaver River) qualified for the final heat of the 400-meter dash, as he finished seventh in the qualifying heats with a time of 50.72. Just seven one-thousandths of a second separated sixth from eighth.
 
Sophomore Jorge Cabera (Mount Vernon, N.Y./Mount Vernon) placed 12th in the hammer throw (40.61 meters – 133' 3"), sophomore 
Michael Brockway (Washingtonville, N.Y./Washingtonville) finished 14th in the 10,000-meter run (33:18.35) and first-year student 
Nicolas Anderson (Bronx, N.Y./All Hallows) took 14th in the long jump (5.63 meters – 18' 5.75").
 
Action concludes at the meet tomorrow beginning at 9 a.m.
