                     Meet Results
CANTON, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's track and field team placed fifth out of six teams with 46 points at the St. Lawrence Intercollegiate Athletics Twilight Meeting on Saturday in the team's final tune-up before the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championships.
 
Sophomore 
Cody Monnat (Croghan, N.Y./Beaver River) won the 400-meter dash, covering the race in a meet record time of 50.60. Junior 
Brexton Montville (Cadyville, N.Y./Saranac) finished second in the 100-meter dash (11.06), while first-year student 
Nicolas Anderson (Bronx, N.Y./All Hallows) was the runner-up in the long jump (5.95 meters – 19' 6.25") and junior 
Aidan Tous (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) took third in the shot put (12.66 meters – 41' 6.5").
 
In addition, first-year student 
Noah Bonesteel (Averill Park, N.Y./Averill Park) placed fourth in the 1,500-meter run (4:08.77), while sophomore 
Jorge Cabrera (Mount Vernon, N.Y./Mount Vernon) finished fifth in the hammer throw (40.33 meters – 132' 3").
 
Plattsburgh State next competes at the SUNYAC Championships from Friday-Saturday, May 6-7, at SUNY Brockport.
