                     ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Junior 
Brexton Montville (Cadyville, N.Y./Saranac) of the Plattsburgh State men's track and field team competed in the 60-meter dash on the first day of the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Nazareth College on Friday, charting a time of 7.09 to finish 11th out of 24 runners.
 
Montville was just 14 thousandths of a second from qualifying for Saturday's final and was the second-fastest runner from a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) school. Ithaca College's sophomore Jalen Leonard-Osbourne posted the top time with a meet-record run of 6.86.
 
Montville concludes action at the meet tomorrow at approximately 1:30 p.m. when he competes in the 200-meter dash.
