                     UTICA, N.Y. – Junior 
Brexton Montville (Cadyville, N.Y./Saranac) placed second in the 200-meter dash and fourth in the 60-meter dash to help the Plattsburgh State men's track and field team rank eighth out of 13 teams with 33 points after day one of the Utica Pioneer Invitational hosted by Utica College on Saturday.
 
Montville clocked a second-place time of 22.75 in the 200-meter dash, while his time of 7.12 in the 60-meter dash placed fourth in finals.
 
First-year student 
Noah Bonesteel (Averill Park, N.Y./Averill Park) took third in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:01.46, while sophomore 
Michael Brockway (Washingtonville, N.Y./Washingtonville) placed fourth in the 5,000-meter run (15:59.77). Junior 
Aidan Masten (Peru, N.Y./Seton Catholic) also scored points individually for the Cardinals, placing sixth in the long jump with a leap of 5.97 meters (19' 7").
 
Plattsburgh State next competes at the Middlebury Field and Track Meet hosted by Middlebury College on Saturday, Feb. 12.
