BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's track and field team finished up Friday's session of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Indoor Championships at SUNY Brockport's Special Events & Recreation Center ranked sixth out of nine teams with four points.
 
The Cardinals' four points came from their fifth-place distance medley relay team of first-year student 
Noah Bonesteel (Averill Park, N.Y./Averill Park), sophomore 
Levi Sochia (Norfolk, N.Y./Norwood-Norfolk), junior 
Liam Gildea (Washingtonville, N.Y./Washingtonville) and sophomore 
Logan Van Buren (Port Henry, N.Y./Moriah) that charted a time of 11:04.14.
 
Junior 
Brexton Montville (Cadyville, N.Y./Saranac) positioned himself well for Saturday's final heats, as he ranked second in the first round of the 60-meter dash (7.01) and fifth in the first round of the 200-meter dash (22.74).
 
Junior 
Aidan Tous (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) placed 10th in the shot put (12.67 meters – 41' 7"), sophomore 
Michael Brockway (Washingtonville, N.Y./Washingtonville) took 13th in the 5,000-meter run (15:50.93) and sophomore 
Cody Monnat (Croghan, N.Y./Beaver River) placed 13th in the 400-meter dash (52.20).
 
The SUNYAC Championships wrap up tomorrow, with the final session beginning at 10 a.m.
