                     Meet Results
CANTON, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's track and field team returned to action for the first time in more than a month on Saturday, placing second out of three teams with 78 points at the Saints Indoor Invitational hosted by St. Lawrence University.
 
Junior 
Brexton Montville (Cadyville, N.Y./Saranac) and sophomore 
Cody Monnat (Croghan, N.Y./Beaver River) each won an individual event and participated on an event-winning relay. Montville won the 200-meter dash in 23.61, while Monnat took first in the 400-meter dash in 53.33. The two teamed up with first-year students 
Thomas McDonough (Guilderland, N.Y./Guilderland) and 
Nicolas Anderson (Bronx, N.Y./All Hallows) to place first in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:37.88.
 
Other event winners included sophomore 
Michael Brockway (Washingtonville, N.Y./Washingtonville) in the 5,000-meter run (16:15.97) and junior 
Aidan Tous (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) in the shot put (12.47 meters – 40' 11").
 
Second-place finishes came from Montville in the 60-meter dash (7.22) and first-year student 
Justin Kumrow (Mahopac, N.Y./Mahopac) in the 5,000-meter run (17:42.38).
 
Plattsburgh State next competes at the Middlebury Invitational hosted by Middlebury College on Saturday, Jan. 29.
