MEET RESULTS
BROCKPORT, N.Y. - Junior
Anthony Ciccarelli (Smithtown, N.Y. / Commack) of the Plattsburgh State men's track and field team won the javelin throw on day one at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) championship meet on Friday hosted by Brockport.
Ciccarelli won the event with a throw of 53.32 meters (171' 8").
Senior
Brian Fabian (East Northport, N.Y. / Northport) qualified for the finals on Saturday in the 400-meters with a regional qualifying time of 49.88 seconds.
Junior
Kade Lampman (Ballston Lake, N.Y. / Shenendehowa) finished sixth in the hammer throw with a mark of 45.62 meters (149' 8").
Senior
John Guercio (Carmel, N.Y. / Carmel) placed seventh in the javelin with a throw of 42.52 meters (139' 6").
The men's team currently sits in fifth after one day and will wrap up the SUNYAC championship on Saturday starting at 10:30 a.m.
