MEET RESULTS

CANTON, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women's track and field team swept the relays at the Saints Ice Breaker Open on Saturday hosted by St. Lawrence.

The 4x100-meter relay of junior Elisabeth Plympton (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Beekmantown), junior Marissa Jones (Sauquoit, N.Y. / Sauquoit Valley), sophomore Janyll Barber (Dannemora, N.Y. / Saranac Central) and freshman Victoria Whimple (Castleton, N.Y. / Maple Hill) won with a regional qualifying time of 49.70 seconds.

The 4x400-meter relay of Plympton, freshman Kristen Boerke (Washingtonville, N.Y. / Washingtonville), sophomore Jackie Corbett (Pine Bush, N.Y. / Pine Bush High) and Barber won with a time of 4:19.62.

The 4x800-meter relay of Canet, freshman Aislyn McDonough (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Northeastern Clinton), sophomore Faith Haley (Cadyville, N.Y. / Saranac High School) and Jones won with a time of 10:07.05.

Plympton won the 100-meters with a SUNYAC time of 12.72 seconds and the 200-meters with a time of 25.57 seconds. Her 200-meter time is a regional qualifying mark and puts her in the Top-20 in NCAA DIII.

Whimple won the triple jump with a mark of 37' 0.5". Her jump is a regional qualifying mark and puts her in the Top-15 in NCAA DIII.

Junior Brianna Coon (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Plattsburgh) won the shot put with a regional qualifying mark of 41' 0.5, took second in hammer with a SUNYAC mark of 129' 4" and finished third in the javelin with a SUNYAC mark of 105' 4".

Barber won the 400-meter hurdles with a regional qualifying time of 1:06.25 and the long jump with a SUNYAC mark of 16' 9.75".

Haley won the 400-meter with a SUNYAC time of 1:03.94.

Boerke won the 100-meter hurdles with a SUNYAC time of 16.89 seconds and the high jump with a SUNYAC height of 4' 9".

Jones finished second in the 200-meters with a time of 25.64 seconds. Her time is a regional qualifying mark and puts her in the Top-20 in NCAA DIII.

Sophomore Desirae Blair (Queens, N.Y. / Bayside) took second in javelin with a regional qualifying mark of 117' 6".

Freshman Rebecca Block (Lake Grove, N.Y. / Sachem North) was second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:58.01 which is a regional qualifying mark.

Junior Taylor Canet (Peru, N.Y. / Peru) placed second in the 800-meters with a SUNYAC time of 2:24.12.

Sophomore Jazz Roberts (Albany, N.Y. / Guilderland) finished second in the 10,000-meters with a time of 43:26.02.

Junior Kristina Watrobski (Clifton Park, N.Y. / Shenendehowa) was third in the 1500-meters with a time SUNYAC of 4:54.65.

Sophomore Mikayla Rossier (Menands, N.Y. / Shaker) placed third in the high jump with a height of 4' 5".

The Cardinals will head to Southern New Hampshire Saturday, April 13.
