MEET RESULTS
MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Plattsburgh State women's track and field 4x400-meter relay and junior
Marissa Jones (Sauquoit, N.Y. / Sauquoit Valley) set meet records at the Southern New Hampshire Penman Relays on Saturday.
The 4x400 relay of junior
Elisabeth Plympton (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Beekmantown), sophomore
Janyll Barber (Dannemora, N.Y. / Saranac Central), junior
Taylor Canet (Peru, N.Y. / Peru) and freshman
Aislyn McDonough (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Northeastern Clinton) won the event in a new meet record time of 4:00.02, which is a regional qualifying time and currently leads the conference.
Jones won the 400-meters and set the meet record with a regional qualifying time of 58.09 second, which is the top time in the conference.
McDonough won the 800-meters with a regional qualifying time of 2:20.72, which ranks her second in the conference.
Plympton finished third in the 200-meters with a regional qualifying time of 25.69 seconds and was fourth in the 100-meter with a regional time of 12.58 seconds.
Junior
Kristina Watrobski (Clifton Park, N.Y. / Shenendehowa) placed second in the 5K with a regional qualifying time of 18:25.28.
Sophomore
Desirae Blair (Queens, N.Y. / Bayside) finished fourth in the javelin with a regional mark of 125' 07", which places her in the Top-50 of NCAA Division III.
The Cardinals will travel to Cortland for the Cortland Classic April, 19-20.
