BOSTON, Mass. - Junior Marissa Jones (Sauquoit, N.Y. / Sauquoit Valley) made her NCAA Division III indoor track and field championship debut on Friday at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Jones competed in the 400-meters and entered the event seeded 17th.

Jones finished third in her heat and 15th overall with a time of 58.13 seconds.

Freshman Victoria Whimple (Castleton, N.Y. / Maple Hill) will compete in the triple jump Saturday at 11 a.m.
