MEET RESULTS
CANTON, N.Y. - Sophomore
Andrew Horan (Albany, N.Y. / Guilderland) of the Plattsburgh State men's track and field team won the 1500-meters at the Saints Ice Breaker Open hosted by St. Lawrence on Saturday.
Horan ran a 4:10.67 in the 1500-meters to take first place and finished second in the 800-meters with a time of 2:00.74.
Sophomore
Luke Groves (Slingerlands, N.Y. / Guilderland) placed second in the 1500-meters in a time of 4:17.77 and finished third in the 800-meters with a time of 2:02.30.
Freshman
Jacob Leaper (Scotia Glenville, N.Y. / Scotia Glenville) won the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:05.84.
Junior
Alex Hepburn (Corning, N.Y. / Corning-Painted Post) was second in triple jump with a mark of 39' 8½".
Junior
Kade Lampman (Ballston Lake, N.Y. / Shenendehowa) placed third in discus with a throw of 114' 0" and was third in hammer throw with a mark of 146' 0".
Sophomore
John O'Connor (Canajoharie, N.Y. / Canajoharie) finished second in discuss with a throw of 115' 6" and was third in shot put with a throw of 40' 2¼".
The 4x400-meter relay of Groves, sophomore
Arthur Horan (Albany, N.Y. / Guilderland), senior
Brian Fabian (East Northport, N.Y. / Northport) and freshman
Tyler Martin (Saranac Lake, N.Y. / Saranac Lake) placed first with a time of 3:37.73.
The 4x100-meter relay of senior
Luke Roderka (East Northport, N.Y. / Northport), freshman
Connor O'Neil (Dover Plains, N.Y. / Dover Union), freshman
Michael Meddings (Massena, N.Y. / Massena Central) and freshman
Vincent Perna (Commack, N.Y. / Commack) took third with a time of 45.48 seconds.
Plattsburgh State will compete at the St. Lawrence Broken Open on Saturday, April 6.
