MEET RESULTS
 
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women's track and field team finished fifth of 30 teams at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field (AARTFC) Championships hosted by Ithaca College in Glazer Arena on Saturday.

Junior Marissa Jones (Sauquoit, N.Y. / Sauquoit Valley) placed second in the 400-meters with a time of 58.20 seconds and sophomore Janyll Barber (Dannemora, N.Y. / Saranac Central) took fourth with a 58.87, both of which are personal bests on a flat track.

Junior Elisabeth Plympton (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Beekmantown) finished second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.88 seconds and placed fourth in the 200-meters in 25.82 seconds.

The 4x200 meter relay of Plympton, Jones, Barber and freshman Victoria Whimple (Castleton, N.Y. / Maple Hill) took third with a time of 1:45.17.

The NCAA Division Selection will take place on Sunday with 20 athletes being selected per event.

The NCAA DIII meet is set for March 8-9 at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Ma.
