Boerke And Rossier Hit SUNYAC Marks In Pentathlon At Ithaca Bomber Invitational

ITHACA, N.Y. –
Freshman Kristen Boerke (Washingtonville, N.Y. / Washingtonville) and sophomore Mikayla Rossier (Menands, N.Y. / Shaker) of the No. 27 Plattsburgh State women's track and field team hit SUNYAC qualifying marks in their first pentathlon of the season at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational on Sunday.

Boerke placed seventh with a score of 2867 points, which is both an All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) and SUNYAC qualifying mark.

She hit SUNYAC qualifying marks in the 60-meter hurdles (9.96 seconds), high jump (5' 0.25") and long jump (16' 6.5"). She ran the 800-meters in a time of 2:39.11 and threw 23' 2" in shot put.

Her pentathlon score is currently 48th in NCAA Division III.

Rossier finished 19th with a score of 2110. She finished the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 11.91 seconds, ran the 800-meters in 2:57.12, threw 29' 10" in shot put, jumped 4' 5" in high jump and 14' 3.25" in long jump.

Plattsburgh State track and field are at the Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University this weekend.
