No. 30 Women’s Track and Field Compete at North Country All-Comers Invitational

MEET RESULTS

BURLINGTON, Vt. -
 The No. 30 Plattsburgh State women's track and field team saw seven State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) marks at the North Country All-Comers Invitational hosted by the University of Vermont on Sunday.

Junior Taylor Canet (Peru, N.Y. / Peru) won the 500-meters with a time of 1:24.34.

Sophomore Desirae Blair (Queens, N.Y. / Bayside) and freshman Allison Seidman (Commack, N.Y. / Commack) tied for second in the 55-meter dash with a SUNYAC qualifying time of 7.86.

Junior Mikayla Barrett (Rotterdam, N.Y. / Schalmont) placed third in the mile with a SUNYAC qualifying time of 5:41.73.

Freshman Isabel Dashnaw (Canton, N.Y. / Hugh C. Williams) finished third in the 55-meter hurdles with a SUNYAC qualifying time of 9.99.

Sophomore Anika Roberts (Holland Patent, N.Y. / Holland Patent) was third in pole vault with a SUNYAC qualifying height of 10' 2.00" which is a new personal best.

Junior Hannah Cunningham (Campbell Hall, N.Y. / Washingtonville) placed second in both shot put and weight throw with marks of 36' 0.75" and 42' 2.50" respectively.

Sophomore Katie Gibson (Ballston Lake, N.Y. / Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) was third in weight throw with a mark of 43' 7.00".

Freshman Journey Myricks (Cohoes, N.Y. / Shaker) finished third in shot put with a mark of 34' 7.00".

Freshman Ava Cristiano (Loudonville, N.Y. / Emma Willard School) was third in the 200-meters with a time of 29.28.

The 4x400-meter team of Barrett, sophomore Jackie Corbett (Pine Bush, N.Y. / Pine Bush High), sophomore Faith Haley (Cadyville, N.Y. / Saranac High School) and Canet finished second with a time of 4:28.64.

Corbett and freshman Aislyn McDonough (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Northeastern Clinton) each recorded SUNYAC qualifying times in the 800-meters. Corbett finished 11th with a time of 2:32.17 and McDonough ran a 2:33.18 to take 12th.
 
The Cardinals are back in action Saturday, Feb. 16 for the Middlebury Team Challenge.
