NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – The nationally ranked No. 15 Plattsburgh State softball team swept a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) doubleheader at New Paltz, improving to 18-2 mark overall and 4-0 in SUNYAC play. The Hawks fall to .500 overall with a 9-9 record, including a 1-3 mark against conference opponents.

The Cardinals scored in every inning but the second, en route to an 8-0 victory. Brianna Clarke went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. Nicole Diemer went 1-for-4 with a two-run double in the fifth. Marshall, Kayla Rabideau and Erin Florkiewicz each drove in a run.
