2026 CSC Academic All-District Softball Teams
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Plattsburgh State senior infielder Megan Pillus (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Spackenkill), junior catcher Emma Deo (Averill Park, N.Y./Averill Park), junior infielder Sara Isaacs (Malta, N.Y./Shenendehowa), and junior pitcher Cadey Wheat (Edwards, N.Y./Edwards-Knox) have each been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team following the conclusion of the 2026 regular season.
To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes must excel both on the field and in the classroom, holding a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA while being at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined achievements in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately honors recipients across four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Pillus, a Childhood Education major with a 4.00 cumulative GPA, started all 35 games for Plattsburgh this season, totaling 15 hits to go along with 10 RBIs.
Deo, a Journalism/Digital Media Production major, holds a 3.75 cumulative GPA. She appeared in 28 games, starting all of them, and totaled 17 hits to go along with 6 RBIs.
Isaacs, a Fitness and Wellness major with a 3.67 cumulative GPA, started all 35 games for Plattsburgh this season, totaling a team-high 44 hits to go along with a team-high 52 RBIs.
Wheat, a Communication Sciences and Disorders major with a 4.00 cumulative GPA, pitched in 17 games, starting 15 of them while logging 62 innings pitched and totaling 44 strikeouts.
