PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - Forty-six seconds were left on the clock when
Lindsey Larivee brought the Plattsburgh State women's basketball team within in three points (53-56) of the Geneseo Blue Knights with a trey after receiving the ball from
Stephanie McCoy. Unfortunately, that would be the closest the Cardinals would come to surpassing their visitors. Alyssa Polosky sank a three-pointer for Geneseo 22 second later and sealed a victory for her team, 59-53.
Plattsburgh falls to 3-20 for the season, 1-16 in the State University of New York Athletic Conference. Geneseo rises to 14-10 overall, 10-7 in conference play.
