ORLANDO, Fla. – Ignite D3 Events has announced the participating women's basketball programs and matchups for the inaugural D3 Orlando Classic Presented by Cabana Bay Beach Resort, which will take place Dec. 18-21, 2026, at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.

The event will feature 10 NCAA Division III women's basketball programs, with Plattsburgh State among the participating teams. The Cardinals will open tournament action on Friday, Dec. 18, against Ursinus before facing Allegheny on Saturday, Dec. 19.

Plattsburgh opens the 2026-27 season at home by hosting the Cardinal Classic on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 13-14. The tournament field includes Potsdam, Saint Joseph (Conn.), and VTSU-Castleton. The Cardinals begin the season against VTSU-Castleton on Friday before taking on Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Saturday.
