PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Plattsburgh State Director of Sports Performance/Associate Track & Field Coach Brett Willmott is in Italy attending the XXV Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
Wilmott has been with USABS for nearly three decades, where he is an expert in the push start of sliding. He has trained some of the fastest starters over three decades and has had a stint on a World Cup tour. He now focuses on the domestic start program and off-season training for the athletes. Wilmott currently coaches USABS skeleton athletes Sara Roderick (MA) and Michelle Toukan (NE) and is on hand in Cortina for the Olympic races on February 11-14. He also trained Katie Uhlaender for the Beijing Games and previously trained Plattsburgh State All-American John Daly '06 for three Olympic Games (Sochi, Vancouver, and Pyeongchang).
