Women's Soccer Drops 2025 Fall Schedule

2025 Plattsburgh State Women's Soccer Schedule

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State Women's Soccer team has its sights set on the 2025 season, as it prepares for its 17-game schedule beginning this upcoming August. The team will have seven home games, with 10 road contests making up the 2025 campaign.

Plattsburgh State will kick off its season at home on Friday, Aug. 29, as it hosts Vermont State University Castleton at the Field House Complex Turf. They then travel to RPI on Sunday, Aug. 31, for their first road matchup of the season and continue with another road matchup on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Clarkson.
 
The Cards then host their Senior Day on Saturday, Sept. 6, taking on VTSU-Johnson in non-league action. They continue with play against Liberty League opponents, traveling to Skidmore on Wednesday, Sept. 10, and then hosting Union on Saturday, Sept. 13. Plattsburgh then takes on Norwich in their final non-league road matchup on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

The Cardinals open up State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) play at home on Saturday, Sept. 20, hosting Fredonia, before they finish up with non-conference action at home on Wednesday, Sept. 24, against St. Lawrence. The Cards continue with SUNYAC play on Saturday, Sept. 27 at home, hosting Morrisville during homecoming weekend.

The October schedule begins for the Cardinals on the road, as they travel to defending SUNYAC Champions Cortland for a Saturday, Oct. 4, matchup with the Red Dragons. The Cards will then host the other SUNYAC Red Dragons, taking on Oneonta at home on Wednesday, Oct. 8. The conference schedule presses on as the team then travels to Canton on Saturday, Oct. 11, with their final regular season home game on Wednesday, Oct. 15 against New Paltz. The Cards then wrap up with three straight road games to end the season, taking on three SUNYAC foes in Oswego on Saturday, Oct. 18, Potsdam on Wednesday, Oct. 22, and Buffalo State on Saturday, Oct. 25.
 
The top six teams in the final regular-season conference standings will qualify for the SUNYAC Tournament, with the first-round set for Saturday, Nov. 1, the semifinals set for Wednesday, Nov. 5, and the championship set for Saturday, Nov. 8. The top two seeds earn byes to the semifinals, while the bottom four seeds begin the tournament in the first round on Nov. 1.
