PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State tennis team was on the wrong side of a 9-0 result against Saint Michael's College Wednesday evening at the Memorial Tennis Courts.

The Cardinals dropped doubles sets despite a valiant attempted by Erin Wiggins (Manlius, N.Y. / Fayetteville-Manlius Senior) and Nadine Ciardulli (Massapequa, N.Y. / Plainedge High) that went to nine.

Ciardulli went to seven in her second singles match but fell 7-5 after a tough flight.

The Cardinals drop to 2-3 overall while Saint Michael's moved to 1-2.

Plattsburgh State travels to SUNY New Paltz Friday for SUNYAC play starting at 3:30 p.m.
